EAA powder coating is a type of thermosetting powder coating that is mainly composed of ethylene-acrylic acid copolymer as the film-forming substance, combined with pigments, fillers, leveling agents, and other additives. It is manufactured through processes such as melt extrusion, cooling, pelizing, crushing, and sieving.
Main features and advantages:
1. Outstanding Bonding Performance
· This is the most prominent advantage of EAA. It has extremely strong adhesion to a variety of metal, such as steel, aluminum, chrome-plated, and galvanized parts, without the need for primer.
· Even for plastics that are difficult to adhere to such as polypropylene, strong bonding can be achieved after surface treatment.
2. Excellent Corrosion Resistance
